North American Business Development Director (virtual role)
with flexible location

With the aim of making art and culture more accessible, we support leading cultural institutions both nationally and internationally with innovative digital solutions to attract new audiences and strengthen customer loyalty.

Our focus: Digital Audience Development Solutions

Our core product: Apps for art & cultural institutions. Some of our references include: MET Opera App, HITPTIX App, Opera Zurich App, Baviarian State opera App, ClassicCard App Berlin, Ticket Gretchen App, and many more.

Job requirements

  • Sales Process Management

    Lead and manage the sales process from initial contact to closing deals:

  • Pipeline Management from prospect outreach, follow ups to in person meetings, supported by a vibrant team providing research and graphics

  • Closing deals:

    • Create SOWs & concpets based on clients requirements

    • Send pricing information & create legal documents based on easy-connect templates (Offer & Order Form, SaaS Agreement…)

  • Lead contract negotiations

  • Provide KPI-driven reportings for pipeline performance & sales performance reporting

  • Business Development & Eco-System Management activities

    Drive business growth through targeted activities, e.g. including:

    • Attending industry conferences and representing easy-connect in presentations, sessions or panel discussions

  • Marketing

    • In conjunction with Marketing Lead, evolve and improve marketing materials and presentations to fit the situation and build demand

    • Lead in making easy-connect a „must have“ service

  • Account Management

    Manage new accounts and closed deals:

    • Serve as the primary interface between clients and easy-connect dev/product team

    • Schedule regular check-ins with clients to maintain strong relationships

    • Identify opportunities to enhance product success (e.g. providing marketing advice in collaboration with the easy-connect marketing team)

Characteristics:

  • Proven experience in Business Development & Sales, particularly in the Arts & Culture and SaaS business sector, with a well-established personal network

  • Maintain strong closing capabilities to secure deals effectively

  • Willingness to travel in North America as required

  • Strong presentation skills and a professional presence.

  • Active and engaged presence on LinkedIn and other platforms to expand networks and promote easy-connect
